Now I Know Poem by Lovely Enchantress

My body floated over a desert land.
I felt the sand, the dust around me.
I saw a bright blinding flash of light
Then I saw your eyes for a moment.
I felt you in my being, it seemed so real.
Then it all went dark, i felt extreme pain.

I awoke screaming and cold from the nightmare.
My eyes filled with tears.
I prayed to the divine to always keep you safe and sound.
This nightmare I had so many years ago.

The thread never severed.
Somehow I just knew.
I know why you stay away, it all makes sense to me now.
