Nothing To Hide Poem by Randy McClave

Nothing To Hide

Inside my phone go ahead and take a look
Read all the messages, then review the pics like in a book,
Look at all my contacts and who I had called
Or even who had called me, you won't be enthralled.

Inside my wallet please, please take a peek
Look for anything that your soul might want or seek,
While opened, look at my cards or any hand written notes
Then please look in the pockets of my pants and coats.

Inside my car why not look underneath my seats and visor
You will find nothing which might make you a bit wiser,
Then take a look inside of my car's glove box
They are always opened, my glove boxes have no locks.

While inside my house why not take a glance/ gander
Remember this, I don't ever play hide and seek or slander,
Then look in all of my drawers and in the closets inside
Then you'll know this, that I never have anything to hide.

When you have finished your search and masterminding
I will then wonder about your so called fact finding,
Now in my soul might come a doubt and in my brain comes a yearn
Now I might ask you this, is it now my turn.
