Yes, nothing remains except love.................................10
So sad, but this is bitter truth of life, Nothing remains but sweet and bitter memories of days gone by : (
Once again a gift of a beautiful poem given to us so freely. Loved reading each line. Nothing remains yet all is there somewhere in our thoughts. Thank you so much Valsa for sharing this lovely write.
Nothing remains...... the grieving widow`s reminiscences have a desperate look and she dives flat into the mire of her seclusion and despondency. But she has to search and find Those footprints, he has once left In the weed grown paths of her life left dry As those prints have crushed many a weed down To show the way to his dear not departed till his last breath. Sorry, Madam I could not read this poem till Feb 8.
But Alas! I cannot cry My eyes are dry! .. lo vely lines eyes should never remain with agony and pain it was happy union and stay whoever has come here has to go away///// mehta
Could feel the words while reading those. Beautifully expressed, mam! ! : D
a consoling poem touching deep.... Nothing remains of those days When existence was but a lovely dream
Past is always a memory. Nothing tangible remains. Memories remain and keep reminding of bygone days and dreams.Memories must carry one through life somehow. Nice poem beautifully written. Thank you.
When you unleash........Valsa.........every piece becomes a masterpiece.......a very touching poem with intense feelings of love, hope, faith, courage and distress, grief, lament and what not.....very well composed
Dear Valsa these words are truly beautiful and how you have moved me. What can I say but thank you for a very special poem to save.
superbly penned there Valsa the gradual change, the shifting hues of colors, coming over human life as it runs the years. you end with a sad note.
How I search in vain For those footprints, you have left In the weed grown paths of my life How I long to wash away My grief in a surge of tears Trickling down my eyes.....so touching and moving. The cry of inner heart of woman who lost her husband is astutely delineated. Beautiful poem.10
