Nothing Left Poem by Dorsey Baker

Nothing Left

We cannot communicate
because the wall
between us
is so very thick
and when you're living
in a glass house
someone might break a window
and hit you with a brick
What it comes
down to
is that
there is nothing left
to say
nothing left to do
tired of the pain
the light gone out!
Nothing but darkness remain.
