Nothing Is Permanent. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Nothing Is Permanent.

Rating: 5.0

Nothing is permanent.

When we accept it
no loss can rule over us.

At the face of change,
in richness and poverty,
in success, failure
and a break down
we will remain calm and composed.

Nothing is permanent here on the earth.

I agree Antony reflecting on the Impermanence of life is the key to freedom. There is Something in us that cannot be touched though ashes meet ashes and fall into dust. The immortal flame at the heart of us all. No matter what happens in Life we are held and all is well. Yes I agree with Charles thought-provoking poem reminding us of a noble truth

Nothing is permanent...Here on Earth This is something of which I remind myself throughout life. To recognise that, good or bad, nothing is permanent and change is inevitable, (Except, of course, if you believe that God is here with us on Earth, then He is eternal, infinite and unchanging) but in all other things we are able to maintain a composure. Thought provoking work. Thanks for sharing.
