Yes. There is 'NOTHING IN HEAVEN'- beautifully presented! Congrats!
I know some ladies who would say 'If I can't shop, I'm not coming.' Me, I'll be peeking round the gate to see if any animals have made it, because if some of my best dogs ain't there I'm not coming either. We Taoists have our yea and we have our nay! Love this Mary. Regards ~ Res
a very nice poem. makes you think that our secular world is not all that important
Very complex poem....intrigueing and it just makes you think.I really like that about it Mary... Just keep sharing as this was an interesting Read! Shelley
This is simply wonderful...... and very deep.. Makes me think anyway! Rogerx
You've put your finger on a mystery here, so directly and simply, and made us confront it. The mystery of spirit divorced from corporeality is so ancient yet should always be wih us. You remind us that our material minds and lives make it very difficult for us to grasp the concept of spirit, particularly in the West today when for many the goal in life is to amass maximum Things and thereby somehow make ourselves more valuable and indeed more 'real'. This is an original and wonderful poem on a perrenial human problem, Mary.
dear mary, i love poetry that challenges the mind and this is one. keep on your good work and thanks for spending time with my humble verses. keep going.
Not only can I dig that kind of thing, I 'terra firmally' believe it. Mary, you came through in spades with this offering. Of course, a materialistic heaven just doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of sense, no matter how one cuts the deck. A stellar posting, Mary. Respecfully, Greg
Mary, WOW! This is deep and interesting with its insight. Top marks my friend and thanks for sharing it. David
The real beauty is we won't need or even miss these things. Great read. Thanks
