Nothing Common About That Crucified Criminal Poem by Terence George Craddock

Nothing Common About That Crucified Criminal

The one who claps claps exclaims,
Jesus was nothing a common criminal,
has forgotten an ability to think reason.
A common criminal crucified, who now
influences a world two thousand years
later, who many proclaim him to be holy.

A nobody from a backward province,
ruled by Rome, who still today influences,
the world is not a common criminal.

Ask good lawyers about the influence
of Jesus, an influence that inspired both
the Magna Carta, and a document famous;
an American Declaration of Independence;
most moral and ethical laws, that globally
enrich and protect developed human society.

Thanks Bard. When Jesus does come back history will repeat. Those who expect that he will come through established scriptures will be disappointed.
