Nothing Bad Poem by Dorsey Baker

Nothing Bad

Got up this morning
ate some scrambled
eggs
and a piece of toast
my neighbor
must be an angel
because she is
white as a ghost
I detect
pain and misery
and its coming
from her house
she lives across the street
I've kissed her
once or twice
and I promise you
her lips are sweet
she said
she was going to the doctor
diagnosed with
a sickness she thought
she had
it was only
imaginary pain
so
she took the trip
in vain
just a touch of sinus
nothing bad!
