The turquoise waters
Roar a laughter
At the fisherman's cove
Ravens join the fishmonger women
In the cacophony.
At a distance
A fishnet cast over
The waveless seas.
The man in the country fishing boat
Quivers in a prayer
As sun casts an angry look at him.
Nothing has changed
Nothing!
I had noted two posts by Robert here, yesterday. And I had posted a rejoinder to one of his observations. But everything has disappeared. PoemHunter has taken charge of everything?
Such a deeply moving poem! .. Heart in hand and prayer! .. Powerfully and beautifully expressed! .. Definite 5 Stars! ..+++++
Dear Becca, it feels great to read you words, as always. Thank you.
Beautifully crafted poem on life. Sometimes life is at standstill until the wind of fate blows in our corner. A great poem.
It is always a pleasure to read your observations on the poems. Rose Marie quietly picks us everything positive in the poem, meticulously and showcases them for the benefit of all the readers. How would we express our gratitude to you!
A very thought provoking poem with crystalline images and metaphors.
I had responded to the posts of Words Out of the Mind here by a few rejoinders. But none of them is visible yet. Oh! ph, ph! ! !
May I request my favourite poet, Robert Murray Smith to post the comments once again.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
It was a snapshot into life, a clip of reality, a vision of what is. Beautifully set and told
Wonderful appraisal of the poem, with a balanced insight. Thank you, dear poet. Much obliged.
