This poem goes with my poem shared here OF POETRY AND PROSE. After 10 years of white paper, a friend had inspired me to write again...Inspiration is always there...poets need the right moment...A very good pen, I love this poem. Thank you Jacqui for sharing.
I cannot move my hand to write, so, I cannot close my eyes at night... With poems like these you always stay in the hearts of all the poets. To you are the star, you are the sun, you are the moon, you are my angel, you are my African dove, you are my love fountain, you are this... you are that.... you are my lifeline!
A very nice expression of emptiness, Jacqui. Very recognisable state of searching for meaning. I have expereienced sometimes, that the harder we search, the more difficult to find, the harder we chase, the faster it runs. And then, if we stop our chase for a while, it lands as a butterfly in our hands. What a wonderful poem. A great expression of true feelings.
..writers never have vacations..hahaha.. ..again a great one.. :)
I have spent many sleepless nights but like the stars in the sky’s we are not alone. Each of us shining bright and full of life. My poet friends are my galaxy
Emptiness has filled the air but the scent still rules.. Nice write Jacqui.. take care my dear friend :)
