There is no greater joy than being read. Readers are the validation of whatever we write. Maybe there will be a time when our works will be recognized...in God's own time.

This poem resonates mostly in us but Poetry has many rewards that is beyond material wealth.

When a Poet writes, he put his heart and mind into it.He pours his emotions and shares a part of his life to the public. Yet, sometimes such works are not recognized. Yet, we keep on writing because we find solace and happiness in Poetry.

With all respect to Sandra, but according to my experience I see the opposite, as elite poetry of the highest quality is rarely read and causes responses and mentions, but it remains alive, and perhaps serious readers will turn to it in the future.
