Not For Every One Poem by Ray Hansell

Not For Every One

Rating: 4.0

I thought love held the answer
Of what I was looking for
But I should have known better
As I had been down that road before

Love is not for everyone
That's so very plain to see
And if you doubt what I say
Just take a look at me

Each time I thought I found love
It slipped right through my hands
For me, holding on to love
Is like trying to hold on to sand
