Not Always A Kodak Moment Poem by Mikey Estrada

In a perfect world I would have you by my side, In reality you pretty much pushed me aside.

I put it all on the line when I came out of the shadows; and showed you how the love I had for you overflows.
But in reality I fell for someone who I trusted. Little did I know it was all a myth waiting to be busted.
How can you throw me aside with out even giving me a chance to show you my game.
I had us pictured in a frame spelling out our name and ever since you doused out my flame nothing has ever been the same.

I didn’t plan for it to end this way because I thought you were simply real but dispite about you I feel I guess I wasn’t a perfect ideal;  making it seem like I’m better off the 3rd wheel.

I’m slowly rising back to my feet trying to recover but it’s getting harder on me to find the next beautiful thing I discover.

I just wish I knew who she was so I could tell her how much I love her.Where ever you are I just want you to know you deserve a mans respect and its you I can convict to being my kind of perfect.
