For you see the sad fact of life is that not all Fathers are the same. It takes more to being a father than just carrying around the name. Rightly said, like they say: action speaks louder than words. It pays to be a responsible father, to get someone write a father's day poem like you've done. I wouldn't say my dad is the best daddy on earth because I have only one daddy and there's none more to compare but I don't think any father did more for a son than my father did me. I would also say that we need to celebrate father's day everyday, like Bri said, in our actions and not waiting on an appointed day to honour them. Good work

it took quite awhile for me to notice the rhyme scheme. i think. could it, really? fathers who want to be fathers can celebrate it every day! fathers who don't want to be fathers can ignore the day, or run away. i think my dad did the basics: impregnation, bringing home the dough used to buy the bread etc., painting the house and mowing the lawn, and not bothering me too much! he was ok. :) bri
