This could be a conundrum. Catch-22. Clever indeed! ! 6-7-7. Could be a Haiku. The Haiku Masters very frequently did not follow 5-7-5. Anyway. I LIKE this. Now I have to figure it out.xxElysabeth
Great work...you said so much with so little! Top marks! -Michael
I loved this Cia! I hope it's meant to be tongue in cheek? ? Does the title come from lots of people saying 'nice haiku'? ? I too have wondered about what you are saying - Buddha's old adage about letting go of desire is surely in itself a contradiction if it contains the desire for desire to stop! But... what if that desire could be let go of as well? ? That's the only answer I could come up with. But yes, you are certainly being Zen enough! ! I just love the tone of this 'non-haiku' - and the last line especially! Sean
Not a haiku structurally, but this certainly contains the essence of haiku. A conundrum indeed. Clever. love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Do you want to know the answer or not? ! ! ! Zenhood + humour + razor sharp mind = Cia's very fine poetry. jim
Hmmm.....Reminds me of the story about three monks standing on a bridge, and the first monk sez...... Yes, you are definitely now a Zen rock star! Tongue in cheek, you are a blessed liar. love it-finally, an antidote to haikus. phillip
of course you are zen enough that makes you a boddhisattva
Gorgeously Buddhist - but it'll do! Happy New Year, Cia - hope all's well with you. Cheers, Bill
