Not A Dream Poem by Concetta Salter

Not A Dream

Rating: 5.0

Nothing can compare to this.
This love that I now feel.
I love the way, it’s me you kiss.
I love how you are real.

Finally it’s not a dream.
I pinched myself in case.
Your part of my reality.
My heart is yours to take.

Your all that I have ever dreamt.
Your all my dreams come true.
I feel like I am truly blessed.
I’m whole when I’m with you.

Everything I’ve ever dreamed,
Came true with your hello.
Whenever you are next to me,
My insides start to glow.

All my wishes, all my prayers,
Have finally come to pass.
You’ve taken all my harbored fears,
And set them free at last.

Surely you’re a gift from god.
An angel in disguise.
A shoulder I can lean upon.
A man who tells no lies.

Now that you are finally here,
There’s nothing else I need.
As long as you are close and near,
I’ll always be complete.
