Why think about the future? If the past is more meaningful Why think about now? If now is the most painful? These questions are relevant to everybody at some point in time or the other. A big Thank You to Hans Vr for his elaboration on the poem.
Very moving poem. Bliss of the past. A simple life in poverty is sometimes better than a complex life in wealth. I think for the person in the poem: Let's go and get back those blown away leaves and use them as elements of strength to face new challenges and pain. Longing for that horizon in times of great pain so very human. Gathering all strength to overwin the pain, perhaps get out and help others in similar situations will ensure we will be able to enjoy the horizon when the horizon really comes.
Why think about now? If now is the most painful? - - -these are my most favorite lines they make me glued to this poem and read again and again. Are you in pain, are you sad? Hey do not worry, it will pass. I love your poem. Very emotional.
