Our past memories are sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter. Whatever it is, it helps us evaluate the present and draw the future roadmap in a better way. In the poem, I love the expression, 'Save the expansion of self essence that powers the beating heart.'

What a deeply moving piece of poetry. So many underlying meanings. Well worded and meaningful. Thats life, slipping through our fingers. How the heart aches to think of the moments gone.

Wallowing in the padlock with just one question. Does the heart beat so we can breathe or vice versa? Good one, ric

My age is slipping from my hands nostalgia is inflating every day, at any moment I may be burst, I am a balloon of clay, but I can't turn out this uninvited guest, among all my friends nostalgia is the best, unlike me with the ageing it's increasing its charms, welcome nostalgia, come into my arms.

Thank you for inviting me to read your poem. I love the accompanying warm feelings that nostalgia brings. Magical moments are indeed memorable and one tends to linger in the magic.

I too rate nostalgia highly, remembering the vast hinterland of the past. It is a beautiful thing to say 'please' and 'thank you' to anyone who does us a favour. Very well written.

hi, i liked your words.... " The nostalgia of looking in stills every other wish save the expansion of self essence that powers the beating heart to breathe life in your shape of dust." it has a lot of insight, but sorry, i didn't understand the rest of the poem, it was too esoteric for me. cheerio carola
