None Await Days, ... Poem by james watkin

None Await Days, ...

None await days, thought-heavy.
Autumn's; ripen forever!
Who would be keeping pensive watch
Strawberry or pear over

For what in coon too busy is
Looking cute, a bin tipping!
In wasp, alike banded and brash
Into beer garden dipping!

There is this strange boy however
Least half so who, off and on
Pumpkin, from out its whopping seed
To roll sets his heart upon.
