The ghosts of William Shakespeare and,
His beloved pet howler monkey Mischief,
Are once again atop a high cliff top,
Peering down on all humanity.
Gadzooks! Exclaimed the Great Bard.
The Great PoemHunter war still rages!
Between two warring poets!
Methinks one side is unaware of the wretched,
Cowardly, dastardly devious tactics of the other,
That other where black is really white!
The same other who constantly time after time after time after time,
Doth so pretendth to be a woman.
Clearly a mind most deeply disturbed, arrogant and embittered.
A woman's soul trapped in a so called man's body.
But it could be a lot, lot worse,
He/she/it could be an Australian.
And with that Mischief nodded and smiled,
Finally understanding his masters cryptic words,
Then scratched his red monkey arse.

Wonderfully worded sardonic poem Shaun..that 'fella' certainly deserves it. I'm currently laughing out loud as I type! It's definitely a fiendishly funny five from me.
