This is an excellent poem. I really like this wonderful write. Stay blessed
As you said, it causes so much anxiety if one loses his mobile.Even with smartphones by our side we get divided for attention from various sides.A message from office boss or tantrums from children, we have to manage all at a time.
Smartphones are new age addiction afflicting almost all.Now we can not do without it.A wonderful poem.
I have no 'smart' phone and use no Internet on my 'flip' phone. Our Home Phone is a 'landline'. bri ;)
'Nomophobia' = No More Phone Phobia? I give poem 5 stars. I commented a few months ago also.
'What's app.' Is that to suggest the question (on Facebook) 'What's up? ' ? ? nice, if so.
'Our one hand remains curled even before the first sun ray.'...very nice & I hope an exaggeration! ;)
Not an exaggeration at all dear Bri.I find it even in my home. Thanks for comments.
I was on an elevator in a hotel once, and two other people were there, a man and a woman. They were obviously together, but both texting on their phones. I looked at them and asked 'Why don't you just talk to each other? ' They laughed.
You left a nice comment on my recent Friday the 13th poem. Thanks. This phone poem is BRILLIANT; are 'we' sure I DIDN'T WRITE IT? ? ? ? ! ! ;) brii 5 stars
'Hopefully little hands would develop on ears to carry the phones.' YES! ! But my main phone is a 'landline' and my cell is an old flip phone/flipfone? It is NOT 'smart'; neither am I.
Your phone may not be smart, but you are definitely smarter dear Bri.
Nabakishore, This is what my online search told ME: 'Nomophobia is an abbreviated form of 'no-mobile-phone phobia.' ' I admit I have some anxiety when my phone is not readily available to me! ! !
A brilliant presentation on the effects of smartphones. A meaningful and informative write. Thank you for this knowledge you imparted.
