A well articulated piece of poetry elegantly brought forth with clarity of thought and mind. A beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
a wonderfully poem of how to treat hate to keep it locked up? now wouldn't that be great! ...............superbly written PG.
Wouldn't it be great if all forgot to hate? Good thing the Lord above always shows his love!
Love saves the world and, hatred destroys it! Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
I like this poem very much, great insight on hate...The charactization is amazing.....
Great message! The story, though, I felt was a little contrived. Good on balance.
Your personification of HATE is a cunning character. He knows immediately he can't intimidate you, or scare you into hating another person. So his approach is quiet, even charming. He offers a gift but you have already X-rayed his intentions, and he gives up. It's so easy to defeat hate: you just need good character, strength of will, and solid virtue. In other words: Be a good person and Hate cannot touch you! Your poem is a moral tale we need to heed.
Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Do I have permission to read it in church and give you the shout out of course! Rose J. Prioleau
Beautiful narrative poem with depth of insight. I like the articulation and rhyme scheme of the piece. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MZANSI AND THE BALLOT BOX.
Reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe! chilling! I think its my favorite, even though the topic is dark. In the end, good wins over evil though. What a great writer she is!
A great write Patricia with a superb title. Hate is very much out there, sadly it is all that some people know. But lets keep loving! GPOTD (Great poem of the day)
loved this conversational piece and enjoyed very much. Hate is with in us, we just have to be care full to keep it in check.
Superbly crafted the verses is just flow like a majestic river, although the subject is not so pleasing, reminds me of the story of Buddha and the mara, he was tormented by all vices of evil but fought back. There are to many boarders who dwell in that cabin. A great job!
Excellently written poem with great depth and meaning, so much wisdom and timely message.
I looked at Hate with the blink of an eye You'll live in this house until the day you die ......../// beautifully penned, beautiful expression yeah; no room no room for hate in the heart of love those who know love never know how to hate if anyone says he/she is in love but he/she hates after a while then take an understand that it is not love......! !
