No Promise, Please Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

No Promise, Please

Better no promise to me give,
Words vouched seldom a long life live.
Say, you'll try, meet again,
I'll wait as if you were rain,
Like rain, shall let you when you leave.
Joy there's in love to wait,
As there's in getting wet—
Moments spent with you to re-live.

Thank you Rajnish Manga, it seems we are meeting with our poems after a long time. I like your poems in Hindi, and may this new 2019 bring to you all poetic cheers.
