No One Can Poem by Puja Chakraborty

No One Can

No One Can

No one loves me. They can't.
No one holds my trembling hand.
No one says, "You are my everything."

No one takes me as their breath.
No one cries for me.
No one wants me — even if I die.

No one sees the storm
Behind my quiet smile.

And in the days to come,
it stays the same.
No arms will ever reach
for me in the dark.
No voice will whisper
my name like a prayer.
They'll forget I ever existed —
Just a shadow,
fading from memory.
A name the future never learns to miss.

I walk through crowds like air —
Unseen, untouched.
I laugh, so they don't hear the silence inside.
