No Need Of Any Preacher If Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

No Need Of Any Preacher If

No need of any Preacher if
You realise, embrace and perceive
Death by the side of you.
Unexpected and unpleasant events
Might occur any time in your life.
Your beloved might depart forever.
Fatal diseases might be waiting
For you to destroy your pleasure.
Your faith and life might betray you
Any time and any moment.
Hence we must make best use of
Time that is available for us
For the welfare of living creatures
And restoration of humanity.
We need to enjoy with our fellows
As we are going to die in near future.
When you try to feel death behind you
You can't dare to hurt and humiliate
Neither your friends nor relatives.
You keep yourself away from
Malpractice, exploitation and atrocity.
You may not need any theologians
To teach you moral and social values.
Self-actualization and self enlightenment
Will guide you in each moment
To remind you life is so short
And a lot of things are still
Left to be done for your beloved.
The uncertainty of span of life
Revives a sense of responsibility
Within you for your family and nation.
