The super-confident, almost regal tone of speech repeated with variations in stanzas 1-5 impresses me. But what does it lead to? I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the speaker is asking that people let go of what they are fixed on and understand well enough. Then new things will arrive, new interests come about. And the challenge will excite new activity.
Well, i believe that you understood it very well, yes we need to let things go but they are not gonna pass us by,
