A meaningful and nice write. Firstly, people who do these..are they really human beings? Do we actually know the meaning of Human being nowadays? Time to think..

It's a nice poem and sad. It has a pretty message. I don't believe that there are people who throw acid on other people's faces. It's a crime. I denounce this criminal act.People should report this to the authorities immediately.I side with you. Thanks.

Oh women and girls of India, don your lead masks to avert this evil. Take faith in knowing that our eyes are now open and we can see, our ears are now attuned, and we hear India's cries and feel her pain. Our hearts are hard and cold to this injustice and the wicked shall recieve their Karma back tenfold! Survi... this is a important piece.; -)

It’s a very relevant write; it’s an increasingly prevalent criminal activity with far reaching social economical and medical issues You have done well to highlight the heartless activity, it needs to condemned in the strongest terms and voices must unite against this evil activity, the killers of beauty and faces of life are simply murderers and nothing less. They have no claim to mercy or rhetorical human rights activism. Well written, heartfelt and emotionally strong. it is doubly engaging as the poet identifies personally with the victims and sends out a heart wrenching appeal careering across borders. well done liked

This folded hands reminds me of a Muslim begging for his life with folded hands which was published in the press. In Kashmir Muslim fundamentalist extremists threw acid bottles against Muslim lady-teachersrecently.Ignorance and obsession make men violent. They feel it as something proud of or a game to delight (It is a sadistic pleasure for husbands /misguided guys.) Pain of girls is their gain as part of ragging even. This criminal exposure shall be mercilessly punished-You can write poems or essays on such issues to liberate womenYatra naryasthu poojyante/ ramanthe thathra devata, so Manusmruti tells.[Where ladies are honoured there only the godless (of prosperity) shower blessing]. No matter in a family or in a state/institution. Hope you will write more to educate the society in local papers /magazines also..This is a good attempt in simple words.
