No Host
On the way I am looking for you,
Desolate and full of cacophony,
I am for you to meet and talk,
I am on my way home and confused,
Who are you and why my journey?
I am a lone visitor and nowhere to visit,
Where to go and why this waiting?
Years after years I am waiting and waiting,
no no one comes to meet,
This earth is a desolate forest and
No hope to see my host.

Waiting! ! ! ! For so long. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
There comes a time in our lives when we question our purpose and existence. A time when we expect a revelation that we are meant to do world shattering tasks. Most of us live waiting for such times, until late in life, we realize that the moment has passed when we did not take the opportunity to act because we were thinking of grander things that are meant for us – we think big and ignore the simple things in life. I interpret your “host” to be my “revelation” and you are still seeking yours.10+
