Very moving poem. My wife's grave has no flowers because of Covid.

M J Lemon says that this is your very best poem, and he could be right. It is indeed very good. Full of sadness, but I know that your father has already forgiven you. Flowers are nothing compared to your love.

A heart-wrenching poem that clearly illustrates the deep love that a daughter has for her deceased father. A very sincere apology. The last line is priceless! Nice job, Lee Ann!

I know Father's Day is over I had tried to avoid writing this poem Because it was too painful to remember the failure Until I mustered up the stength To write about it, this morning wonderful expressions of your inner feelings. tony

My eyes are swollen up a bit when I read this, the feelings are raw and hit deep, this had to be one of the harder poems I ever read. I am sorry beyond words LeeAnn. A great tribute, your words make immortal what a flower cannot.
