No Farewell, My Love Comments

(Adolescent couple in love, temporarily separated, as one goes overseas for tertiary studies. The setting is a fusion of two different times, modern scene but spoken in Old English style. It is intended for classroom use, as a drama skit. Perhaps, use for an experimental theatre debut.
The scene is just outside the entrance of an airport departure lounge.
Andrew’s parents and two siblings watch straight-faced, whereas Adeline’s widowed mother and only sibling younger sister, in tears, stand the other side) .
