Oh, but this poem breathes new life into the term cliché - could it be that you're subverting the meaning. I see hope on the horizon of heart-break! S ;)
An honestly stated and thoroughly enchanting poem about devotion. My first husband had a horror of what he called 'the hollow cliches of romantic love'. Perhaps that is why, after 27 years, I left him for one who wrote me poems. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The world is full of clich'e why should love miss out. This is a fine poem on so many levels. I have never understood the pain involved in love as being a punishment. I wonder how love survives it seems to me there are so many reasons to stay away from it. -----10
