No and yes co exist and their harmony is well woven into our life. If I say, Lyn, ' it is a good poem', I hope you won`t say, 'oh no'...

Many a time we have to say 'No', sometimes an emphatic No'. It usually invites displeasure! But if we say only 'Yes', it will land us in graver situations and problems. To say 'No' is perhaps more challenging than saying Yes... not only to others but to us also! A very appealing subject and a beautiful poem, Lyn!

I agree, wholeheartedly! Wonderful claim made here and YES, you have the right to say no! Lyn, such a great poem, thank you!

It is either yes or no. Weigh the goods and bads of each choice and then make your decision for a yes or a no. If the scale is even try again. If one out weighs the other then go with it. Very deep.

Beautiful poem Lyn. Yes and No are the two powerful words. It's like either Yes or either No.. Thought provoking poem. Loved it.

Really liked this poem it raised some questions and no your not wrong and yes can lead sometimes to bad choices But no's not necessarily good and can be bad. I learnt to say no and lost a few friends, those only interested in me doing them a favour, my real ones stayed so it winnowed out the dross, so yes on the whole no can be good. But there are repercussions good and bad so no simple answer.

yes and no apparently simple are in reality the most difficult response with wider than anticipated repercussions. this poem, Lyn, strongly brings out that aspect.
