Nighttime Vow Poem by Miracle Oguine

Nighttime Vow

Beneath the cloak of night so dark and still,
I venture out and gaze up to the sky.
The stars, like diamonds, twinkle with a thrill,
As if they're beckoning, urging me to try.

I start to count them, one by one with care,
Attempting to keep track of every light.
But soon I'm lost, and with a gasp I stare,
Lost in the splendor of the vast starry night.

My heart is racing, brimming with delight,
As I realize the universe is vast.
I know it's up to me to take the flight,
To chase my dreams until I find them at last.

So in the silence, with a smile so bold,
I make a vow to myself that very night,
To soar beyond the stars, to be so bold,
And claim my destiny with all my might.
