Nights End Poem by Matthew Holloway

Nights End

As the night draws to dawn
And dreams fall away
Like the wilting leaves of autumn
The rising sun may greet
A far different place
Than what we once knew
Or held within our hearts
Such darkness as night claims
Decaying dream leaves
Fall softly away
To the mourn, the mourn
A rising sun kisses none
