Nightmares 07 Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

Nightmares 07

Rating: 5.0

Caught
in a whirlpool,
sucked in
down, down,
I breath in
the brine of
deep seas.
Suddenly
I face a huge shark
its teeth naked stark
now my life gloomy dark
bears its bleeding marks.

You have captured the moment every swimmer or diver fears. I managed to get out of the water before the shark had me for lunch.
