Moreover, she stands suffocated with a terrible mishap that happens mid-way from home to conference hall. A poignant poem so brilliantly penned.

A working woman is loaded with duties and responsibilities. It's in fact tough on her part to balance between her family responsibilities and official assignments. I can understand what the poetess intends to express here. A pragmatic write.

a poem that describes how worrying about certain things can somehow find a way into our dreams or as in this case a nightmare? ................well written.

I touched it with my finger… My heart missed a beat; My gold earring was missing… I was shocked and benumbed. And the crowd jostled me in. I got up slightly and looked back… My heart missed a beat; There was a dark red stain on the seat of my trousers… I was shocked, embarrassed, and benumbed. And the crowd jostled me out. I suddenly noticed everyone staring at me wide-eyed I protectively wrapped my arms around myself… My heart missed a beat; My clothes were gone and I stood nude! I was shocked, embarrassed, and benumbed. I screamed in fright, And I toppled down from my bed on the cold, hard floor with a thud… I wish the nightmare were never come true! ! What a painful outcome! Ours is no more a civilized society. Love and protective looks towards women have become words of literature only. Thanks for the nice portrait.

My clothes were gone and I stood nude! I was shocked, embarrassed, and benumbed. I screamed in fright, And I toppled down from my bed on the cold, hard floor with a thud… your imagination of a night mare that comes out of busy schedule and hard work in the given circumstances.. very well thought out and written. thank you dear poetess. tony

This dreadful but powerful narrative brings to fore a couple of harrowing experiences of many an urban woman irrespective of her age. Very poignant and bold. I liked this poem because of its analogy with recent mishaps that have taken place all around us.

A woman in general and a working woman in particular faces many natural and man made problems, she has fears and these fears often cause such dreams. A nice and bold description.

Really, it is a matter to realise about the difficulties of working woman in India. they have to cook, they have to attend office, they have to take care of kids. Indian women have many fold struggle. despite of every struggle they win to manage the home. they are not so to quit the home in minor issues.. nice depiction. I must like to vote. regards
