Stranded
in a deserted land
Nighthawks cry
under the cold full moon
Singing tales of terrors
forgotten by the Earth itself
The stars seem so threatening
with their trembling light
If the oceans hide
so many mysteries
And the forests
so many secrets
What unimaginable horrors
dwell in the distant space?
κατοικούν στο μακρινό διάστημα;
" Nighthawks" . i suppose you mean this bird: " They are mostly active in the late evening and early morning or at night and feed on moths and other large flying insects." At LEAST you used punctuation (properly) at the ending. ha ha. I, Bri, used to dwell in distant space! to MyPoemList bri :)

Another spine tingling thought expressed here. It has been surmised if there is intelligent life on other planets not only would it likely be more intelligent and advanced than us, the odds of it being friendly is slim to none.
