Valsa, I never read this one before, and it’s lovely. It’s an excellent simile that you put before us simply and briefly and that is pleasing visually. Applause! I’m going to suggest this for Valentine’s day. Do you want to put a period after anyone? -Glen
My twisted mind says that you are writing about a lover stealthily coming in the night, .......just thinking, but it is a provoking read.
rain pouring down in silence and dark, our psyche get metamorphosed from all its mundaneness, rain being from sky, in silence, in darkness, in solitude.ambience is well captured by the poem.and if there is a meeting with old pure love, it is doubly exhilarating.
This is a poem where nothing happens, but we're left feeling a sense of wistful beauty. You've captured the essence of the night rain, of a life, of a lifetime of a human which is nothing more than a bit of rain falling in the middle of the night. Beautifully written and expressed. -Pam (Jette)
A slow night rain, not making a noise, that can not awake one, though unnoticed, still felt in in the damp soil of the heart. This poem is also a night rain, after reading it when the dawn of thoughts breaks we feel it, and we understand how many meanings it has.
Love rises in mind like sun in sky. Heart beats in love like flower blooms in twig. Love is never told outside rather this is felt well. Like this night rain falls down in damp silence and mind awakens without awakening anyone. Untold love spreads fragrance of emotion. When dawn breaks it disappears. A nice imagery is drawn in this poem...10
Night rain may leave some traces on the leaves of the mind. Those memories result in a beautiful poem I think.
like love never told, very beautiful poem when I can link both parts with the line like love never told.. so it is always raining in the night and silence and love... but no residue no clue when you awake. best poem Valsa G.
You have astutely and hauntingly accumulated the love, night and rain in this poem that attracts the readers. A beautiful poem with lofty insight. Thanks for sharing.
It requires great sensitivity to feel the untold love. Equally it requires some willing eyes to see the traces of night rain. Beautiful poem. So enjoyable on this cloudy morning. Thanks for sharing Valsa.
There is a peace that comes with the night rain, the earth drinks in silence, it really is a love never told, you write a wonderful poem my friend
Thanks a lot Bill! Surprisingly a few weeks back, It has been raining during night time! But by daybreak, it was all dry and sunny!
Night rain like love untold without leaving any trace.. Wish if heart wont smell the trace of wet love. Beautiful poem, loved reading it
Thank you Rini! As the Earth which is soaked in the first rain sends out a scent, this untold love too sends out a fragrance which can be sensed by those with sensitive nose!
without awakening anyone., no wet earth also, good imagination
Lovely poem, Valsa! Are you sure this untold love leaves no trace? Maybe none visible to others.
A clever question, Laurie! Definitely it impacts, but leaves no visible marks! Thank you!
Night rain compared to silent love poured out into words most eloquently. Loved the subtle feeling that the poem has conveyed.
