Whilst my eyes awake
before leaving the world I knew filled with your lips
kiss me once more incase I don't see you again
the hours are too long
my eyes wish to rest
they long to drift back to where they belong
in the world filled with you
against the smile that held back the fear they'd never see you again
please don't fade away
grab my hand before my eyes selfishly wake
whilst my eyes awake before leaving the world I knew
