Night And Rabbits Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Night And Rabbits

the Night and Rabbits
After an obligatory hour on my training bike
I walk outside the was a xanthous haze on the sky
that slowly faded as the sun went down
It was an evening dark blue silk of the harem a night
for love the moon was a crescent luminosity and
I bathed and inhaled the beauty of it.
Saw them in half- light five rabbits by the verge of
the road they were enchanted by the sky and when
they saw me retreated into the thicket and burrows
they had taken a big chance so they could see what
I had seen we had a secret and that made me glad
