He just doesn't say - the flowers are blooming- - he gets into their individuality: - - - - - - - - - - -The beauteous snowdrops Droop o'er the plain. - - - - - - - - - - -The crocus opens Its glowing bud, - - - - - - - - - - -Others, like blood. With saucy gesture - - - - - - - - - - -Primroses flare, And roguish violets, Hidden with care; - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Goethe takes care with the details of life and nature which makes his love protestations so much sweeter
