Time to go away
Let's get in the car
We'll travel to many places
Some local some far

Spend the day just driving
At night we'll cherish our time
Any place with you
I know would be just fine

We can watch the sunset
Then, we'll watch it rise
You'll see my love for you
When you look into my eyes

I'll hold you close to me
With these hands of love
I'll whisper in your ear
Things I've been thinking of

I'll tell you how much I miss you
And why I love you so
But something inside tells me
That you already know

I'll tell you that the love I feel
Is going to last forever
When you are beside me
I only know sunny weather

So here's my pledge to you
That from this day on you'll see
Everyday when the sun rises
You'll be waking up next to me
