Thank you for directing me to your poem. I like it a lot! Very nice. Thank you for commenting on my poem also. (you live in southport too? I used to live there and my mum still does) xx
really liked this one, felt as if the words could have came out of my mouth. thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback, good or bad, its appreciated all the same
I love this poem, how it boldly states, next time I'll take a stand and be myself instead of doing nothing. It reminds me of Stephen King's book The Stand where they proclaim 'You don't have to stand tall in this room, but you do have to stand up'. Wonderful!
Liked it Valerie. You got it out of your system and stayed the lovely you. Roy
We all have to take a stance at some point. Stand up and be counted. A fantastic poem.
Very touching poem. Luckily in life there exists this many next times.
There is no next time. Be what you want now. I learned to watch my words, because what you say even think comes back to you. Remember it was said: Believe and it shall be done. It is not good to say: next time, instead say: NOW, but I do not think that person is you. You are soft and pleasant, not that tough person. Look into your self and see what you really are. And be that.
Nice thoughts executed beautifully...Loved it...Thanks to God, there is always a next time... :)
