As the clock strikes twelve, and the year turns new,
We make resolutions, to ourselves we renew.
To better our lives, and achieve our goals,
And reach for the stars, with all our souls.
We promise to be kinder, and more forgiving,
To love ourselves, and to keep on living.
To leave behind, the things that cause us pain,
And focus on the good, that remains.
We vow to be healthier, in mind and body,
To nourish ourselves, and to feel more jolly.
To exercise more, and to eat right,
And to always keep our goals in sight.
We pledge to be more productive, and less distracted,
To work harder, and to be less impacted.
By the things that hinder, and hold us back,
And to stay focused, on the right track.
We promise to be more grateful, for all we have,
To cherish the moments, and to never feel sad.
To count our blessings, and to always be grateful,
For the people, the things, and the life that's delightful.
So let us embrace, the new year ahead,
With hope and courage, and without any dread.
And let our resolutions, be a testament of our will,
To better ourselves, and to strive for the thrill.
