New Jerusalem Poem by Shaun Cronick

New Jerusalem

Rating: 5.0

A new Jerusalem shall arise,
From the ashes of the old.
When man stops killing man,
Then its story can be told.

Peace is hard to come by,
In this city of mixed race.
Many years of endless slaughter,
Sad it has a human face.

But there's always hope for the future...
Peace starts with a simple gesture,
Then all madness shows its ends.
When all people of all religions,
Desire at last to be friends
