A dreadful event the world will never forget. Very well penned.

i have no words now...just a feeling...sorrow....

I invite you to read my poems, After The Towers Fell, and Take Cover...both emotionally inspired by the tragic events of 9/11. As a native New Yorker, the lasting effects of that day stay forever with me. I plan to visit the 9/11 museum an the newly constructed Freedom Tower, to pay my respects. I went to lower Manhattan in December, just after attacks in September...couldn't get to ground zero, but close enough to leave flowers on a churchstep nearby. I will never forget the thickness of the choking air...and the patriotic pain o the many faces I saw. Turkey the world lost it's innocence that day. Thank you for sharing...and remembering. PEACE
