You look around and you see nothing
Perhaps it is because you have your eyes shut
If you only opened then you would see
All the beauty and love and grace that is me.

But still you sit there
Never opening your eyes
Take the opportunity to see what surrounds
Look at things, not just sounds

Open your eyes to the world around you
See all the light that is this life
Become something more than what you are
If you look you'll see that I've come far

But still you sit there
Never opening your eyes
Look at how our world has grown
See all the seeds that I have sown

Try looking at things
Just try it once
Just open then and see me please
See that I love you more than the endless seas

You will never look will you?
You will never take the time to see
I love you darling I always will
But that doesn't matter; life has lost its thrill

But still you sit there
Never opening your eyes
You won't even see me leave
You wont see the body those men will heave

I loved you more than the endless seas
But you wouldn't stop to see all that was me
Now that I'm dead will you open your eyes?
Will you stop and scream and say it's all lies?

But still you sit there
Never opening your eyes
They will stay shut forever, never seeing the mess
Only seeing what you want to see, darkness
