Never, Never Land Poem by Edwina Reizer

Never, Never Land

Peter Pan, that marvelous boy
always young, oh the joy!
Flying and escaping into the air
to a place that's never, never there.

A fantasy world that lives with us
but is far beyond our reach
has become a fairytale children love
but Peter what does it teach?

That forever young can only live
in a place called your heart.
Every palpable place we live
has torn our youth apart.

Peter Pan, you marvelous boy,
let the old and young beware
your escapades and wild dreams
are not found anywhere.
