part 2---I could find a way to defeat the purpose of an air fryer! after all, only I could manage to flood the basement while cooking dinner and washing dishes at the same time--I am such a good multitasker! ! ! !

Even a poem, as good as this, needs inspiration to turn it on, so it won't be missed

Nothing is done. If you don't turn it on.

As the composition is humorous and interesting it attracts the readers to read over and over again and it has been applied for me same as well for which i made my second visit. I love the following lines.... Today's lesson? Dinner doesn't cook not one single bun if you don't turn the burner on. . Thanks for sharing this poem.

My poor family prays for our stove to break down and never work again! ! ! ! I do seem to wander out of the kitchen to return only when the smoke gets thick in the rest of the house. :))

A light-hearted little poem on those little things we take for granted that we normally do on automatic only to discover something has gone amiss. Yep that's me....and when I attach a little mental note to hopefully learn, remember, and check next time.....sigh....there is always something else. I guess that makes the good days better with that extra little piece of knowledge aboard.

Yes! I keep telling myself that these mishaps occur because I have vastly more weighty thoughts on my mind... unfortunately, my husband is not buying my excuse!

A very refreshing write, full of wit n humor. The small trivial moments of life have lessons to teach us. A light-hearted poem but with a lot of depth. A10

Life is a blend of tragedy, boredom, comedy- -I have a bit of fun with pieces like this and if I bring a smile to someone's face than I count it time well spent! We all can use a smile every day, no matter how brief. Thank you for your smile and for the 10!

Bharati, isn't Henceforth a lovely sounding word? I think your exquisite vocabulary is one of the reasons for the success of your poetry. In fact, I am feeling the need to read a Bharati poem right now.....zoom zoom I am off and running ;)

It is true That learning something wonderful And new, everyday Can be thrilling, come what may However, spontaneous, cooking stoves won't be looking in your frig., for cheddar. nor will they present you with a menu, ever Innovation has a limit, But you are still allowed to dream About organic strawberries and cream, If that will make you feel better! Such an cute poem Fluffy and light Like a French Omelet Would, Madame like that tonight?

Susan Williams 28 January 2017

Oh, yes, I would love to have a light and fluffy French Omelet! ! ! Beats the dinners I cook- -blackened, dried, tough..... Mom's cook books [given as part of wedding gift] did not save a dinner from me... she even talked to me over the phone, talking me through how to cook smoooooooth gravy like hers- - she couldn't believe it when I sobbed that the gravy was lumpy..... :)
