Maternal poems are so moving, yet in a very solid way. I can't really explain it, and being a guy I probably never will be able to make the thoughts click but I do know of an exceptional poem written after the child is born and at home: Morning Song by Sylvia Plath. I really enjoyed reading this poem; it is full of hope and love and it cheered me up a bit, it's age makes it just more magical. -SP
